Custom built in Belgium

This website is dedicated to my latest mountainbike project.
At the start of 2012 I've decided to build a new mountainbike with the following requirements:

  • Suitable for cross-country competition
  • Light weight (less than 11 Kg)
  • Good quality components with best value for money
  • Low cost of ownership and maintenance
  • Friendly price range (under 2000 Euros)

On this website you find more information about the Bike, the Parts and soon the Ride

The first version of the bike will be build with the new Shimano XT 2012 groupset.
The wheels are Shimano XT WH-M785 with Continental Race King tyres.
Rockshox's new 2012 light weight Rockshox Reba RL will be responsible for the front suspension.
Steerer, stem, seatpost and saddle are what I like to use on all my bikes: Ritchey WCS.

For a complete overview of all components used take a look at the Parts.

This is an overview of all parts used on the bike
Brands used for the parts:

  • Shimano (drive system, brakes, wheelset)
  • Rockshox (front suspension)
  • Ritchey (steerer, stem, seatpost, saddle)
  • Token (bottom bracket, seatpost clamp)
  • Ahead (headset)
  • Spank (steerer grip)
